I  don’t have an issue with who he is, the issue is with when he used the news paper as a platform for this ideas and then it gets picked up by US media as testament to Saudi’s view of something that in fact only people in NY have a say in

“Sobia is a seasonal drink during the holy month, Sobia which is made of wheat and water mixed with sugar and sometime vimito is still enjoyed after Ramadan in Makkah

Ful and Tameez shops experience normal flow despite ending Ramadan demands…

despite Ramadan is almost over and ful tameez shops are experience normal to heavy flow of hungry fasting customers.

It is littlie bit early to predict customer flow to the store, although these days are still within Ramadan final days

She lost it Jeddah

Naieema the nurse came to Jeddah on a labor visa, to work as nurse in a hospital here in the city. Mandano is where she from, small island with healthy population of Muslim Filipino, there isn’t that allot difference from Muslim and non Muslim Filipinos in the eyes of the west perhaps, however in the Philippine it is at time a matter of life and death sometime.

She started her work at the hospital, made friends inside and outside, there is Yemeni receptionist who fell in love with her body, and wanted to get to know her closer,

she told him there isn’t much to know other than getting married.

He deiced to marry her on Nikah paper, a paper ratified through an masjid imam, no Saudi needs to be involved labor marriage is something that is been going forever in this country without GOV been involved,

because of the nature of their marriage her husband now, abandoned her, no more he was into her,

she is looking for another man to be her husband

what he knew,

He knew that with all the issues plaguing this culture when it came to attending games in Jeddah stadium two words described the atmosphere, Venting Anger, he had heard about how Roman collusions looked and felt like when sports men were battling inside the arena, this was no different the amount of shouting and nasty words thrown at the opposing players are appalling to say the least, Saudi is Islamic society no matter what is been told, conservative as well no woman's are near the pitch. in fact the stadium it self is near Makah highway far from Jeddah’s north scene of city life, it is the closest thing to to Jeddah's people’s people place no Ahil Al Baalad is one way to call them he just called Jeddah’s Real people.

one guy to him “when I see Al Ahli wins, psychological for the day I am fine” Ahli is been losing allot lately Itihad the opposing team, its people also part of Jeddah are more nasty then the rest,

Itihad’s team unofficially is the “people team” the people..that is to say in Saudi if you need someone beside you when you got none Itihad is your team hence it is there.

anger despair or just revulsion ?

confession of Bangladeshi OFW

I got in on omra visa, even though i am not religious person, I found that there are plenty of people from my country working here, the heat is sometimes unbearable but i can handle it. There are plenty of jobs in this country.

I charge Saudis or Saudi looking people twice as much for the price to increase revenue, i do it for few reasons main one is i can, second Saudis don't bargain much, they are indeed a walking money bags here, even though there seems to be some who look poor but they are no near Bangladeshi poor.

feelings and lost feelings,
time and less time,
space, empty space

part of the reason he thought to him self is that he and others were part of the over all beginning of this country, this kingdom,
it was partly evident in a place like Jeddah, and perhaps Makah as well.

for him and others who came in later to the kingdom this was a shared experience that belonged to all of them, citizens and non as well, this he thought was the reason he was still attached to it, not just him others as well.
this is a place in a motion of development, including its fundamentals about religion it self,.

there is a sense that overwhelms someone who tries to connect with this place, and that is the belief the is a feeling that at the ends of the path might find something that he was a major part of, however this is substantial it cant be factual that's where the dilemma starts and ends for the time being.

The issues in the media is not going to calm down, it is as it seems will stick for more time to come, personally I shared with others the feeling that they had to stand for themselves, this included in my opinion to distinguish between them and others within them,

they as personally observed, got issues mixed at times and at times they seemed clear to explain.

here is dealing with their own, no matter what few from here say to them, they should look within themselves for integrating within not here for sure.

Confliction

The issue for this Saudi student is his country is looked at as the birth place of Islam.

That entitles him automatically in the US to speak not just for Islam but also for terrorism to his class mates.

He never thought that he would be sitting one time to explain religion and terrorism, when he even never talked about these topics at his home land.

in Saudi he was considered American by look, since he wore pants and t-shirt going out, and not Saudi traditional Thobe.

What is going on in here, how could I do something like that, I thought the point of coming here is to be free, this is an attack on something that is was my life, I grew and will come back to when I return home, what will I say when I look back at this incident?

Ramadan in the future.

the holy month of Ramadan seems to me at least losing some of its intricate warm feelings of 25 years ago.

Makah in particular seems to be changed, for the good who knows, but the city it self is not reflective of the holy month, I am speaking of the people vising and in the city.

for some reason it feels the country as a whole is still under a spell of consumerism of the 70’s or in general oil boom time when things were available and there to buy, money seemed (and still is ) there for things to buy)

I argued with my self from time to time and I still think that spirituality is missing here, our perhaps it did not exist, there is at some times a general feeling of anger floating in here, and Makkah for example, I say that after speaking with many expats in the city who seemed disillusioned

Always wondered where Hajjaa came from. she is old, frail and children. she along with them walks long distances, unforgiving asphalt roads, children barefoot snot all over the face...just like poor Africa on television ?

but why and how would this fit to the over all picture Saudis want for themselves,. in a way how Saudis are really far from what they claim to be originally (bedu) ?

there was an inescapable sense of illusion that perhaps comes over some people when they visit the cradle of Islam.

is that how the old African woman feels? or is what she is going through sometimes begging sometimes collecting soda cans is just her misfortune.

A’aai guys

today is Wednesday may 20 2010,
I just met with one of A’aai guys, sometimes back in the 80’s me and my older brother used to be with a pack of A’aai boys at Ibn Sirin elementary school in Jam’aa district.

I met A’aai guy as I was entering the elevator, he was rushing to come inside the building to catch dinner upstairs.

Every other time, A’aai family gather in our building to visit on their relatives who lives in the building, actually their relative is one of the oldest tenants of this building.

He did not remember me at all, he had grown old and it was showing on his face, he was about my height, and he had some food in a plastic bag.

few, sometimes many complain about the same thing every day..almost the same thing.

this road is not fully built, that street has way too many bumps along it chaos expats badly behaving, GOV hands are weak almost the same from everyone with a varying degree to the order of how the complains starts  or end.

this made me think about the overall developing process since the discovery of oil and its integrating into the funds for development.

accordingly its been 79 years since the foundation of the nation, and many feel that its still lacks anything close to the basics of foundations. why ?

electronic waves

sad loud electronic voices
five times all day, every day
no heart just sounds, no soul?
where things were lost along the way
where are the voices going
they call but people are not the people
the numbers are not the numbers
the voice might or might not be the same

windows live writer first post

this is my first post using the windows live writer, i heard about it through the news while been in the office, it was at the time when i was trying to get Ram to sign my vacation day application, which he did not want to sign.

it is the time to take whatever writing skill i got to somewhere else as the situation in the news paper is not worth the time nor the efforts.

a consensus I believe has to be made sometime I the future, as Saudi becomes developed.
This consensus has to indeed solve or tries to tackle some of the issues been raised.

There is somehow similar situation happening in this country similar to what the west is bitching about in regards to Muslims. However these Muslims are citizens of these countries, the West must treat them on these basis, these are not expats or migrants in my view these are just typical labeling to undermine the human issue or the reality.

However I take this to the US of example, what is going on here, is like.. how the US will deal with Mexican "illegal" workers, if say these workers wanted to vote, work, live, own if they wanted to live exactly like a typical white person, what would the response be?

Another example…Southeast Asians mostly from India some are Muslims some are not, what if a Saudi workers went to India to take jobs and dictate the way they should be treated what will India's people response be.

These of course are hypothetical examples, but I still think are legitimate questions, and certainly wont occur nor will be discussed honestly in any of these countries the reason been is that these countries know that such thing is ridicules. But its good to play on others instead,

cant complain

There seems to be a change, now that everyone's opinion could be heard on the net.

I was going through one article published here in english, the article is about saudi's human rights commission bitching to the press about how foreign embassies tend to mistreat Saudi
citizens who are applying to get a traveling visa, in this case to somewhere in the EU.

I was going through the comments under the article, almost all the majority of these comments are in favor of these foreign embassies bad treatment.

There is something to be said about this, everyone has right to complain and view their take on things, however the comments seemed not to talk about the main issue Saudis complaining to human rights…it was more about the plight of the expats community bitching about their own treatment in Saudi from a company, sponsor people maybe?

In a way these Saudis cant complain whether or not they have a an expats under them or not, in the eyes of those people its all Saudis must be treated like shit because ones or two or many expats were treated maybe by one or two or many Saudi sponsors.

Squeegee job maker.

A word or two about has to be said about the squeegee the job maker,
wooden stick, pieces rubber some metal to hold the rubber,
you got a job!
water it seems is a problem,
there is huge lack of it..to squeeze every drop it get it,
when there is an excess of it, it is squeegeed away,
Squeegee offers those who know how to move their arms and legs a paying job.
push pull the water, you are employed now.
you know your craft you dont allow others to compete with you.

reached

they show they are a people of with independent minds,
but that is not always true,
glued to the same talking heads, where is the change ?
so just follow and see where it leads,
you might want to learn something from what we reached,
At the time it occurred...to me,
i understood it well at that time,
in one year things around did change,
its not the same.
you talk and none relates,
you walk and no one knows the move,
sad or bad is not the issue no more.

awe

he couldn't imagine that day,
so he deals with it everyday now,
200 years or so ago, he his family lived on the streets and he dreamed,
Now he owns those streets all of them,
his family used be looked at with dismay,
Now he walks and people still look at him with them with awe,

puppet

a puppet made of raw materials wood, tree glue, paints... everyone get the chance to looks these raw materials, never think anything of it.
whoever then comes a puppeteer he cuts the wood, paste the glue he assembles the parts the materials. creates a puppet.
the puppet is on display everyone is looking at it.
it talks it walks it feels it dance.
what a puppeteer

matters not

but dose it really matter after all.
he didn't know at all before,
and now he thinks he knows you know.
days and weeks and months and years knowledge accumulated allot.
the talk and the knowledge, the substance was never there.
now he thinks no one is listening,
maybe they don't listen because your talk, knowledge means nothing,
it has no substance you forget to have when you thought you did.

Full Three Yrs

After all seven or more years he realized to open these doors and start working his way through these rubbles.

he had told him in the past that, this was the best way for you to do your things, in fact it is much cheaper to just kick them out and clean up and keep the place for yourself it is had he listened…

-If their mother was to be taking care of everything that it was their naturally their  job in this case his job.

the concept of him standing on his legs and steady steady tries to get back on his own. This is the right way to it.

Had he done it…. he felt he would have lost everything or lost some or maybe not lost anything and or win it all back, how far was he willing to go ? It never occurred to him or maybe it did he just didn't want to realize it.

Monday, May 24, 2010

I think I can say with all certainty, that I personally don't see solid future for the place.
old district how it has become it, the sounds of people's fear of visiting histhese buildings say in positive sense is amazing...what they say and what is history.
i think it has never occurred to the some that among the crowds that yearn for these fragile memories, among them are no single person who own these trashed buildings.
the people are just doing it because its strong feelings to the place and to the time.
it was/is greed.
its always near to complete but not complete, nor it will ever
I wonder why is it, why is it that its always almost 99.9% and won't want to make it to the 100.

The Mind boggles.

how much his marriage had become a mess a wreck .. after all he thinks that it's not his fault but as much as its almost the whole world’s fault, particularly the crown!
it was a combinations of youths and love and hate and all of the these things,  at the end things had to look on certain way and it always hit him in Wednesday for some reason

Jeddah car auction, a frenzy of market place, located not far from Jeddah Stadium south eastern part of the city.

after managing your way through huge truck drivers hauling cars madly in and out of an area less than half a mile in diameter.the car auction it self is situated in the middle of this circle, surrounded by car dealer shops. just at edge of the market auctioneer start shouting through their megaphones.

just at the entrance of the market comes car auction dealers making hand gestures with their thumbs up for a good price down for fair price if you just stop the vehicle.

"there is a misconception in the public minds about us car auctioneers." middle aged AlHarthy said. when a person approaches us as a seller we try to give him as good deal by estimating his vehicles value based on its exterior and engine's conditions.

car auctioning in Jeddah auction have been for the past several years profitable business venture, many people such alHarthy left thire jobs and started selling, buying and, repairing.

some times an auctioneer like my self losses money instead of gaining as most think, i buy a car from a seller i take it fix it's paint and dents and i end up selling at the initial price that i estimated for it so where is the profit?"

as you would enter the market right from the start men in staging on the edge if road pointing with fingers, signs only few experienced buyers Sellers understand. these signs serve as on the fly quote for the car your driving.

when a person stops, no less the five people would approach the driver, and stray shouting prices and estimation to the cars worth. if a price sounded good a person sells the car if not they move one, however to maintain market control some of these care buyer would tell thire Friends along the road of a customer with certain model to be a sellers would basically fix the Price or under value a Sellers car to maintain market control.

another car shop dealer Ali told, that his job is to bring onto the market as much vehicles as possible,"you see these trucks they contain many vehicles". These "newly arrived" cars again go through some refurbishing before its sent to the market place. Ali said there are no inspection done on these vehicles "if you want to check the car it's up to you, a car here is like a fish in an ocean".

however without a professional car inspections many buyers end up with a lemon. a car buyer told of time when bought car from and auctioneer on the street, American car and it looked good from the outside but as he drove it , the car's engine failed and auctioneer refused to take it back. he advised that as buyer one should inspect the car and scrutinizes its paints for dents and mistakes.

Ali's owner of the car shop admitted the market is not like it used be man years ago. he added customers are more well informed these days. "they put us in the spot asking too many technical questions which past buyers dared to ask in the past ten years buyers just bought the car on face value which isthe norm in the market",

flow of information plays a major part Ali speculated, acess to information like the Internet and the use of cell phone gives customers a better way to bargin with us. before all the information about the car used to be supplied by the seller not the buyers.

Ali also mentioned that the nature of the market has changed more new young commerces are taking over the auctioneers job. i started here thirteen years ago the demography of sellers is really young and can use their cell phone to inform each others to fix the price on a customer.

one buyer advised to check the date of purchase the original buyer obtained the car. also he advised that a buyer should be alert to the condition the car is at, for example rough smoke coming from the muffler can tell allot about the cars condition.

its tipping, but here it wont

I was hearing the tipping out guy speak about his theories of how things move and end becoming things.

And I couldn’t help but think, that these things he was talking about wouldn’t have happened unless in a place like the US. Maybe other places, but I really doubt in here, at least not in the way viral stuff became the way it went in say Boston.
Saturated

Your always be hidden.

Your always be hidden.
Its not a mere of chance that when technology arrived here and in mass he got overwhelmed not just him, his wife children and his mom and father as well.

So he had to counter that…how?. An immerse in information had to be met with and immerse with no information ast all, or at least with some littlie information.

Face it this was a place to which almost the whole world directs its attention to five times a day, by its nature it had to have attention I think at times he goes through these thoughts, and think whether or not the whole idea of moving here was worth.

He knew the people wont do him wrong on his service on the net,
it just felt right that, when phone service centers were created.
It took the shape of the people that live in the land.
He knew that, not matter how is company is doing bad, his phone call service at the company wont be affected. “ people here are just nice, that's all” he said.

Here There and nowhere

it has to not make sense,
it had happened, there no point of going back,
there is no point to 'To look back'
it had happened.
we are here, need to deal with it,
but to whom?
it will get there but who will be there to wait for it?
and the boys cried to the Americans in the group among them "please hide our IP address please..."
normally I wont blame the media.
At the end, the media is only a product.
Those behind has to and want to sell shit,
the question remains...who buys shit?
those who don't give a shit
by them given them some attention,
so called news picks the topic,
by u telling them that, that is what the prophet is like,
you admit to what they amid at and made the point,
you look as ignorant as they do,
you wanted attention as they did,
This thought went through my mind, also it could be another explanation. that is if such tribal connection has ever existed.

Those few individuals who felt it was time to leave the pack as oppose stay within it. Those who grew their own pack and from there own made a branch of their own within the bigger tribal or clan.
This signifies the roots of civil and uncivil in here. I think it is relevant for those who want to explain how they ended up here is to distinguish whether or not theirs comes from those who had left or stayed out fear or consolidate
A quick look onto their cheer number, explains that there was one who felt to make it on his own, and out of fear kept in his blood line.
I wonder if there are others like him here who followed along his path

they come from all walks of life, but wait not all countries, maybe just the those more than few super poor countries, they come to Jeddah to Makkah.

when i got back in 08 its seemed to me that the majority of the hard labor worker, builders, mavens, bakers hand work…in general. it is been done by people who came and then did not leave the land. however i was struck by the age variations within these workers, they are all old as in more than 50 years old construction workers.

this is not all, in another field such as newspaper, most of the workers or editors in this case, i looked and found are all old Egyptians, Syrians and other speaking Arabic national.

these observation really made wonder, or maybe made it clear if there will be any improvement in the movement for real development here.

the young and the able are all for administrative jobs , non wants to build men or woman in this case.

so these men are brought in to build and pave the roads, but for these guys its just a quick way to make money.

“The number of passengers chosen at random for extra screening will also increase, officials said.”
there is no random when you look the way I look, white people are just funny with money.

With all these information, all these people he didn’t know but he know about where they went where they will go, Clicks and clacks and green names on a black screen, and black names on white screen…for the first time he felt supreme, he felt like Informaglos the information hungry god who gathers and read them.
he never knew he would that powerful sometime

Before and after

Sometimes in the year 2000, I was wondering around the Webster Hall it was just after English writing or reading Class.

She was sitting on the floor by the side of the door, black eye small but bright, Hair was black and stirght and short with a slight of brown. “what’s your name ?”, she asked
I adujsted my stand came near her, got next to her sitting tiny healthy body, replied, “you speak good English”, “thank you”, the next thing I can not remember , but I do remember getting invited to her place sometime next week, we did meet briefly from time to time, just like the day, when there was a dinner serving at the Webster hall and I sighted her walking outside and I shouted come here, she came over and the rest I cant remember,

Before coming here, it was rough, hot and bitter, not always like that, but the feelings still flow in me, approaching girls was always a problem either for me, for her, or for both of us and for the “community”, when I met here, although I cant stop, looking, I really felt the inner peace.

Something about this girl just grabs me, not necessary a Japanese thing, Japanese girls are been known in campus to hang around just for the heck of hanging around,
I think personally of the reason of that they don’t have perceive people in the matter of the way we do see girls, we tend in purpose to pick on who we want to have, just for the fact of their outer looks, simple as that, but for us it reasonable enough, if he/she wears and ride fine, then the rest should be the same and by rest it’s the inner self and soul...etc.

My interest in anything Japanese is since childhood, its funny however that mentioning this to a Japanese person normally a male, he/she just don’t really mind it, well this point is understood, but thinking that someone shares someone else pop culture especially that of childhood would be appreciated, for example when I met her, I kept mention Japanese animation that a whole Saudi children well into their 40’s by now, grew to love and really adhere to its messages, one in particular is a cartoon called in Arabic [Adnan wa Lina]. And the romanized name from Japanese is future Boy Conan something like that, this particular cartoon, is really a legend in saudi, people grow up no doubt but that cartoon is just there.

So I mentioned this cartoon, and to my surprise the mild reaction was well. Mild, of course mention a cartoon to an “adult conversation” would seem stupid, but again it was Esl and it was English class, and first time meeting a Japanese person,
thinking about it must the way growing to my 20’s here in the Midwest in which, anything that looks not anything like my self is new, so look into what you have, as a person and try finding what we might have in common other then been humans, and mention it. for them or at least the ones I met , it meant nothing.

Trying to work my way to understand this girl took huge effort, but the result was and still is a love love relationship. I can never say I trusted her motive and, and this could for the main reason of our English barrier, tons of words were either messed part of its meaning or the whole meaning. A problem that still floats till now.

Too Many

They all start at around the same time and finish slightly after each others.
Its like a concert all over town, loud speakers.
When I came back have been used to it while growing up, I found little bit annoying at times, interestingly admitting this, that a microphone is loud from the call to pryer is called apostasy.

I hear them and think they all area competing for Air time, adverting for all to come to their house of Allah and leave everyone else.

When you go inside its little bit difference it is loud but this time there is a touch of voice enhancers to add to the dramatic effect of the reading.

They just got used to it I guess, it must have started sometimes in the fifties, interestingly also no one recalls when it was used nor who was the first to bring it to the houses of god, its never mentioned and when u hear it and see how imams wield it you think the transition was seamless , maybe it was maybe it wasn't and no one knows again, as its brushed off as unimportant. To me I think its the core of the tradition they are trying hard to protect.

BS

I was sitting at my desk here at the paper, one of the girls working at the next door office. Girls and guys are separated by a partition wall with and a small door. one of the girl’s cell phone rang, the tone was none other than the theme song for a animation TV series cartoon, used to air on Saudi TV channel One in the late eighties roughly translated as people’s stories...roughly it might have been known as something else in the states or in Korea or Japan it could be China.

the style of drawing is all too familiar it is Anime 12 frames per-second stuff the was given an Arabic name, a young girl narrated a story from what I understood now days is that most of that translation is been done in either Syria or Lebanon I thought anyway and I cant conform it as information is really scarce here, and by here in the Arabic world world in general you will get what you want digging for it is really hard.

That girl was reluctant to send in the tone to my phone, she ran away as it been claimed to the states

shedding skin

One guy was a stay home, perhaps twenty-three years of age. Also from a well to do commerce family who I had heard from my mother actually denounced their Hadrameez heritage for more obscure front ”modern”.

passing winds

In Jeddah seems to be having some Intellectual phenomena movement that is hitting the local “coffee shops”.

Mostly young and privileged and call themselves intellectuals. they seem garner like minded Hijazi privileged people’s interest on to them.

I had the chance to get to sit down with some.
Before dropping by the meeting I kind of had I general idea to what kind of people I will be meeting with.

A group of few guys, some from “well known merchant class” that is still active,

Note-the reason of mentioning that point is that some in Jeddah merchants either hold to a name of a wealthy family that is not active anymore, or that this person could be a distant relative to the a current wealthy family.

On a Friday, right after the Friday prayer, the location to which where we will meet was a place called Andalusia, trendy place is allegedly owned and operated by another well-known young face Ahmed al Shigery.

So we sat down as to try to discuss some issues, the whole point of the meeting I guess was to see how much each unknown person knows about unknown things.

opposition of thought or lamo mimic.

Here is an example there this guy something Ahamd shegeri. This guy comes on TV on a local satellite Tv channele MBC and talk of what he feel, is sense of the youths
and he explains things as he sees it, but wait that is not the right answer, Ahmad is actually talking to those who share an upbringing similar to his.

here is why, despite those in Riyadh or around the kingdom, who might agree with what he is saying, they wont necessarily follow his lead which is presumably what the boys who made the program are thinking including Ahamd.

and right there is the issue, i believe since coming back, it was always about money, and always about 'looking' at the end Ahamd hasn't really contributed to the society in the way he wanted through his tele program,
he forgot the simple a Jeddah tradition and that is there is none

the toughest trick

The trick is to know it, and know it's going on
And pretended to not want to talk about it
It's confusing and leaves place to many things
Its a place of many limitations
Its a place with hard made up traditions
And you cant just change it
you cant add to it
the Trick at the end is on you

its the call

I am trying contact Yasuko .
...But the case is that for some years she stopped answering phone calls at all. Yasuko wants to severe he contacts between us.

I can’t speculate on reasons but I think if I had to push for one she just might be busy as she claims. However because I get to check on what is up to through her emails I can tell that she just moved on, I don’t blame her at all.
And I might in fact deserve it after all.

I think this is what Yasuko wanted after all, this was a long fling no more, also that’s what she wanted.

I tried to see things for both of us. “Love is blind” bullshit is not true, this has nothing to do with love as much as it had to do with convenience.

Its not love as much as it’s money. It is those feelings that made me upset in the past and passes me from time to time but especially and strangely on Wednesday of every week.

The thing is I won't want accept it these things as facts (love?).
And I kept calling her many times, , and perhaps I wont ever hear.
Reality is one good and socmbring

Slap in some whiel

Today Wednesday this man bin Mahfouz's son died,
uncle who I met earlier to give some money so he can buy dinner for his friend called me to tell me about the death and he said he needs help but he dont have a car to go and help.

I got ready, I wore my thoob and head wear, as i was ready to leave the throught the apt door, father was arriving, uncle told him about breaking news, father says something to then he says that "he has to go to work tomorrow, therefore he can't go to the burial of the dead son and he wont be able to come back early morning"

he was upset as usual, it could be diabetes, blood pressure, depression, who knows, I had to go inside the Apt to get my sandal father closed the door, I was like wait I might have raised my voice I cant recall, though father start saying "What did you say?" and I was like "I need my sandal" he then started slapping my face saying don't you ever rise your voice etc
Adel fled the scene as usual but his cell phn is here getting charged up I asked father to calm down and refused and so on

Tamayo after odd 7 years
